Categories
Necessary technologies support the website and remember functional choices. Analytics includes Google Analytics 4 for browsing measurement and internal Telegram alerts about browsing and calculator use. External media means Instagram / Meta content. Optional analytics and external media are activated only after consent for their respective category.

- mery-analytics-consent — localStorage; Necessary; remembers Analytics and External media choices and the decision date; maximum 24 months.
- selectedMenus — localStorage; Necessary / Functional; retains voluntary menu selections during the process; until replacement, deletion or browser clearing.
- meryBookingGuideResume — sessionStorage; Necessary / Functional; duration: session.
- meryBookingGuideResume-es — sessionStorage; Necessary / Functional; duration: session.

Google Analytics
When Analytics is authorised, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies for statistical measurement and analytics status. Their default duration is up to two years. If Analytics is rejected, it is not loaded. If consent is later withdrawn, new analytics transmissions are stopped and Analytics cookies are removed when technically possible from this domain.
Calculator summaries
With Analytics consent, we record a current calculator summary: service type, guest-number bands, duration bands, estimated-price band and calculation status. This may happen even when you do not send a request. The summary is linked to your session identifier and browsing journey and included in our internal Telegram alerts to understand how the website is used.
The calculator summary excludes your name, email, telephone number, exact service date or location, free-text messages and health information. It does not confirm a request or booking. Withdrawing Analytics consent stops new collection and transmission, but does not automatically delete alerts already sent.
Calculator analytics storage
The browser storage and Telegram alerts have separate retention. Ending the browser session does not delete copies already sent to Telegram. You can request erasure using the contact details in our privacy policy.
- mery-calculator-usage-v1 — sessionStorage; optional Analytics; holds the current limited calculator summary for the tab’s session.
Instagram / Meta
Instagram / Meta is External media. Before consent, no remote Instagram iframe is loaded: a consent placeholder and Cookie settings option are shown instead. A normal external link to Instagram may still be used. After External media consent, Meta technologies may load; their names and durations can vary under Meta’s control.
Managing consent
On the first layer, you can choose Reject optional, Configure or Accept optional with equivalent ease. In Configure, Analytics and External media can be switched on or off independently; Necessary technologies remain active. You can change or withdraw your choice later from Cookie settings in the footer.
